It is essential that each traveller have their own personal
health insurance, as the Padraigs cannot be held liable
for any medical ailments or illnesses which may occur during
the visit. However, if you contact the company before the
holiday of your mobility limitations alternative arrangements
may be able to be made, but are not guaranteed. Please discuss
your problems with us to enable the company to ensure your
total satisfaction.
It is your sole responsibility to look after your personal
property while in the United Kingdom, and to take out insurance
to cover any consequential loss of property or personal
belongings.
Children and young people must be accompanied by a responsible
adult and to be properly supervised by an adult throughout
the duration of the holiday.
The company cannot be held responsible for any injuries,
howsoever, caused, or for damage to property not owned by
the company.
Tours are limited to a minimum 12 and not more than 24
persons. This is to ensure the company shall give the maximum
personal attention to you at all times.
Brief descriptions are given on the hotel provision and
accommodation, but the company shall not be held responsible
for any withdrawal of facilities by the hotel.
The price is as stated in the brochure or on the internet,
but if you wish to extend your stay in the United Kingdom
we shall be pleased to arrange this on a personal basis.
Obviously an additional charge will be made. E.g. it may
be possible to arrange a concert at the Gateshead Sage (one
of the most impressive theatres in Europe or an evening
dinner and horse or dog racing event).
NOTE
The ground at Housesteads and Holy Island is somewhat uneven
therefore limited wheel chair access is only provided for.
It is recommended that sensible wet weather clothing and
footwear is brought as climatic changes can occur during
the summer. Should inclemental weather prevent any excursions
from going ahead, Padraigs shall endeavour to provide alternative
options at different locations.
Lunch on tours is not provided, but arrangements shall
be made for suitable provision be made at local hotels,
country pubs etc.
Accommodation: You agree and acknowledge that the accommodation
is to your satisfaction and that the star rating does vary
from country to country. You agree to the brief description
and facilities and standards of the hotel. In the unlikely
event of food poisoning Padraig’s cannot be held liable.

Payment details: All payments are made in the strictest
security (a small handling fee will be charged at 1.5%)
A £200 non-refundable deposit will be requested to
confirm and hold your booking. It is recommended that you
pay the full amount 6 weeks prior to departure, as there
is limited places and rooms. Payment is by Credit cards
or cheque/postal order and is to be paid in UK Stirling
pounds as Padraig’s cannot incur currency conversion
costs. You agree that any false or failure to make full
payment on the date of submitting your booking form, will
result in a charge being make directly to your account for
costs incurred. In the small event of your card being dishonoured
it is the wishes of the company that you agree to be liable
for any fees incurred by the company.
